COVID19 PSA: Colour Final

For the final colouring of the comp I utilized gradient maps for the background and the overall image, and for colouring the fist and graph bits I again used a clipping mask and on the layers set them to screen or multiply keeping the greyscale and applying a colour overtop without painting away the value.

Greyscale Comp

I decided to go with my first thumbnail

A simple background made with a radial gradient and lines coming out from the middle smudged and set to screen

went back to the flat colour under the fist linework

and repainted with a clipping mask so I don't go past the lines 

added a bit more grey to the top and smudged it

slowly putting everything together

redrew the graph and pieces flying out

add some flat colour 

added value utilizing clipping mask
