| I decided to go with my first thumbnail |

| A simple background made with a radial gradient and lines coming out from the middle smudged and set to screen |

| went back to the flat colour under the fist linework |
 |
| and repainted with a clipping mask so I don't go past the lines |
 |
| added a bit more grey to the top and smudged it |
 |
| slowly putting everything together |
 |
| redrew the graph and pieces flying out |
 |
| add some flat colour |
 |
| added value utilizing clipping mask |
